We design, develop and implement integrated, patient-centered solutions for sustained improvements in performance and profitability, working collaboratively across a spectrum of customers that encompasses hospitals, health systems, physician practice groups and payers.ResponsibilitiesThis role can be based in any of the following locations: Mitchell, SD; Vermillion, SD.The Business Systems Analyst reviews, analyzes and evaluates business systems and user needs and identifies application enhancements in support of Operations team.. This position interfaces with various internal and external teams. Cradle to grave issue ownership is imperative. This position may require an associate's degree in a related area and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area and be familiar with relational database concepts and client-server concepts. The Business Systems Analyst relies on interpersonal skills and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of tasks and works under general supervision; typically reports to a Director or V.P.. The Business Systems Analyst embraces the Issue Resolution Methodology and is engrained in the use of its tool, Freshdesk. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required in this position. Also performs any and all job related duties as assigned.Essential Job FunctionsSupport and monitor daily operational functionalityConsistent and clear verbal and written communicationsChampion application workflows, reporting and desksDrive issue resolution SLAsDuties and ResponsibilitiesSupport operational process for existing business applications.Administer, troubleshoot and maintain existing business systems.Create customized account workflows, strategies and call campaigns.Capture business needs and liaise with Software Engineering.Prepare all necessary documentation for enhancements.Check daily for new problem reports or user requests and respond appropriately.Prioritize problems and requests (new and existing) according to severity.Actively share information with Technology Operations team .Client ResponsibilityEstablish yourself as a support subject matter expertQualificationsFamiliarity with a broad range of desktop applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suites, Monarch Pro, CUBS, Dialer, Metrix, Freshdesk.Healthcare background strongly preferred.Strong communication skills to interact with business process owners and end users.Ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment.Strong monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting skills.Extremely organized and detail oriented with a keen responsibility towards accuracy and sense of urgency.Ability to be accountable, take ownership and always support the interests of Navigant from a technical perspective.Mental/Physical RequirementsStrong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skillsWork as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independentlyConstantly operates a computer and other office equipment to coordinate workRegularly uses close visual acuity and operates computer equipment to prepare and analyze and transmit dataGenerally works in an office environmentEEO/CandB StatementNavigantis an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
