The Health Information HCC Coding Operations Manager shall report directly to the Director of Coding Operations and will be responsible for managing client projects to ensure quality and productions standards are met. The Coding Operations Manager will work as the liaison between Coders and the client to ensure work functions are carried out according to the project contract. This position will perform any and all related job duties as assigned.

Management of all HCC coding/auditing projects.
Management of Physician coding/auditing projects.
Create and deliver Education to Providers, Practice administrators and Client coding staff as needed.
Provides training to HCC Coders on assigned facility, including facility specific coding/abstracting guidelines.
Develops and maintains Client Policies and Procedures specific to the project.

Abide by all client policies and procedures.
Abide by all Navigant Cymetrix policies and procedures.
Must be hold one of the following credentials: CPC, COC, CRC, CDEO, CCS-P, CPMA.
Must have minimum three years of coding management experience.
3-5 years leading or supervising employees.
1-3 years Project Management experience.
Minimum 3 years HCC coding and/or HCC coding management.
3-5 years ICD-10 coding experience.
Maintains professional credentials at all times.
Preferred: Auditing and/or OP CDI experience.
Experience working Physician Coding Denials.
Excellent verbal and written Communication Skills.
Knowledge of CMS, Medicaid and other Risk Adjustment Models.
Strong knowledge and application of Government and other payer guidelines as they relate to compliant coding.
Strong working knowledge of Protected Health Information.
Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independently
Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment to coordinate work
Regularly uses close visual acuity and operates computer equipment to prepare and analyze and transmit data
Generally works in an office environment
