American Tower Operations Site Lead in Mitchell, South Dakota
We are seeking an Operations Site Lead to join American Towerâs Network Operations department.Â The Operations Site Leads are American Towerâs frontline representation in the field with customers, vendors, and landowners and support the Network Operations department as well as various interdepartmental objectives. Day to day you will collect data from all assigned tower assets while maintaining high standards of data quality.Â You will use multiple methods for data collection, including Unmanned Aircraft Systems (âUASâ).Â As an Operations Site Lead, you will partner cross-functionally to manage maintenance and repairs within a geographic area for all asset types, including towers, rooftop installations, fiber-based networks, and generators.

WhatYou Can Offer Us
Performroutine site audits on assets in an assigned area/zone in an efficient andcost-effective manner, utilizing UAS and other data collection tools.
Ensureall assets in said area/zone meet safety, compliance, and asset integritystandards through implementation of the Companyâs Standard of Care andother management policies by identifying and documenting discrepancies andfollowing through on needed remediation.
Effectivelyengage with customers and vendors to manage projects, ensuring timelines and safetystandards are met during pre-construction meetings and post-construction sitewalks and when gathering and processing closeout data for customer constructionand internally generated projects.
Meetcustomer service level agreements by responding quickly to any issues with theCompanyâs back-up generators, fiber-based networks, or emergency response tocritical events.
Approximately75% of time role will be performed outside of a conventional office environmentvisiting assets in a Company vehicle.

What You Need to Succeed
Highschool diploma or equivalent required; Bachelorâs degree preferred.
Minimum2 years of work experience in telecommunications or a related field required.
Mustbe at least 21 years old, have a valid driverâs license, have a demonstratedsafe driving record, and be able to travel extensively by car or truck.
Musthave, or within a year of hire obtain, FAA Part 107 Certification to operateUAS.
Vendormanagement experience, real-estate management experience, or a civilconstruction background preferred.
Knowledgeof radio transmitters, receivers, antennas, radio frequency, wireless, or ethernetbackhaul experience preferred.
Abilityto use discretion when setting priorities and resolving issues in accordancewith Company best practices and standards.
Strongcomputer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to use additional Companysoftware applications.
While performing the role, you will need to lift up to 60 lbs. and be able to traverse developed and undevelopedconstruction sites.
Approximately 30 % travel may be required in support of the positionâs responsibilities.
Strongwritten and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideasand suggestions clearly and effectively.
Abilityto work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
Strongorganizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreedupon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in afast-paced environment .
